WILKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE SPRING 2015
Started my design process by drawing the garage then continued into the kitchen. I wanted to design my house to where it was not just a typical house, so I started drawing the garage at 45 degrees. The garage consisted of a work room for small projects with an attatched storage room for all of the tools.
When I finished the design of the garage and the storage room, I wanted an office that connected from the kitchen to the garage. That was the hardest part for me in the beginning stages of the design.
The style of the house is considered to be a contemporary house with a maximum use of windows for natural light. The front elevation demonstartes the style of the house that displays various windows. I find contemporary houses to be the most interesting style out of all the designs.
After completing the garage, all of the other rooms fell into place that require for a standard house requirements. The next challenges were the basement and the second floor.
